Wisam Khudhair is the Community Capacity and Wellbeing Partnership Manager at the University of Utah’s University Neighborhood Partners. Wisam is proud to be West Side resident who believes deeply in the power of community-led change. Since moving to Utah from Iraq in 2010, he has been actively involved in supporting immigrant and refugee families. Wisam holds a bachelor’s degree in Banking and Finance from Mustansiriyah University and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Utah. Outside of work, Wisam enjoys hiking, camping, soccer, art, and connecting with people through culture, stories, and conversation. He believes creativity—whether through art or community-building—is key to expression, healing, and connection.
