Gregory Ragland
Gregory Ragland (he/him) is a versatile artist specializing in painting, sculpture, and public art, working across a variety of media. He earned his BFA from the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California, and his MFA from the University of Utah. His artistic journey has taken him through LA, NYC, Park City, UT, and now Southern Utah. Gregory’s work is exhibited nationally in galleries and reflects a rich background that began as an editorial illustrator in NYC, where he honed his skills in visual communication. In addition to his studio work, Gregory’s public art can be found in parks, schools, and emergency service buildings. He is known for being a good listener, translating project goals into impactful, striking sculptures that enhance community spaces. By combining his communication skills from illustration with his fine art practice, Gregory finds a natural fit in public art—creating work that is meaningful and visually compelling.
