Lunares (she/they) is a 1.5-generation Mexican immigrant and multidisciplinary artist based in Salt Lake City. Working with beads, paint, and digital media, their practice explores healing, emotional introspection, and the tension between inner and outer worlds, bringing Duvalín-colored dreams and nightmares to life through bold color, rich texture, and layered nostalgia. With over a decade of professional experience, Alethia creates engaging visual work across videography, GIFs, installations, and large-scale campaigns. Their portfolio includes outdoor installations and visual projects for notable clients such as HBO Max, Hulu, and Tumblr, among others.
