FIRE STATION #3 – REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS – Closed 5/1/18

Salt Lake City invites Utah artists or artist-led teams to submit qualifications for a public art commission at Fire Station #3 located in District 7 at 2425 South 900 East. The City’s second new net-zero station will support firefighters’ day-to-day experiences in Sugar House. The project budget is $70,000 and is inclusive of all artist’s fees and related expenses for design, supplies, fabrication, insurance, transportation, permits, and installation. ELIGIBILITY – Open to professional artists or artist-led teams residing in Utah. Artists residing in or that are from Sugar House are encouraged to apply.

PROJECT BUDGET –  $70,000

DEADLINE – Submissions were due by 5 pm MDT, Tuesday, May 1, 2018

Salt Lake Corporation Department of Airports Whimsy Walls RFP – Closed March 20, 2018

The Salt Lake City International Airport has embarked on an Airport Redevelopment Program that includes the addition of large scale art walls – Whimsy Walls – in the design of approximately twenty-four (24) restrooms throughout the new airport scheduled for completion in 2020. Each restroom will feature unique vinyl wall wraps created from original artwork, which are intended to create immersive and engaging experiences for travelers.

Entry Deadline: 3/20/18
Commission: $7,000 each, 24 opportunities
