The Salt Lake City Arts Council invites artists and artist-led teams residing in Utah to submit qualifications for potential inclusion in the 2023 – 2025 Pre-Qualified Artist Pool for upcoming public art opportunities located in Salt Lake City, Utah.
The purpose of the Pre-qualified Artist Pool is to support Utah-based artists by integrating more artwork and artistic elements into citywide infrastructure. The Artist Pool is also a community resource to select artists for commissions on a range of new public art projects.
Additionally, the Public Art Program has received increased interest from private developers, local businesses, other Salt Lake City divisions and departments, and community members wanting to connect with local artists for their own projects. Artists in the Pool will be included on an artist roster that is publicly available to community members and entities that seek to commission art.
ELEGIBILITY: This Call for Artists is open to all emerging, mid-career, and established practicing artists or artist-led teams whose primary residential address is located in Utah.
