Lenka Konopasek
Lenka Konopasek (she/her) is a Czech born painter and mixed media artist. She graduated from the School of Applied Arts in Prague, Czech Republic. After immigrating to the United States, she received a BFA degree from the University of Utah and an MFA degree from Maine College of Art in Portland, Maine. Konopasek attended artist residencies in Vermont Studio Center, Chicago Art Institute, UMOCA, Minnesota and the Czech Republic. Her work has been exhibited widely throughout the United States and internationally. She also completed several large public art projects in Utah. Her work has been featured in the New American Painting, Studio Visit Magazine, Southwest Contemporary, and in other publications. Konopasek has been awarded the 2018 Utah Visual Art Fellowship. Konopasek currently teaches studio art classes as an adjunct professor at the University of Utah and Westminster University.
