Scot Olson
Scot Olson (he/him) has vast experience in 3D design for sculpture and public spaces. His abilities as a public artist are enhanced greatly by this because he can create a 3D concept of public art in the environment the art is intended to be permanently placed. This beginning part of the public art process helps those stakeholders to see what will be created and give input on changes before real-world production of the public art starts. Olson’s clients have appreciated this ability very much. In 2018, he was awarded Utah’s Best of State award for Sculpture. The award was bestowed upon him in part because of his bronze sculpture at the Hale Center Theater. The 16-foot sculpted Jester welcomes patrons to the Theater while setting the stage for an amazing experience. Olson has been selling paintings and sculptures through galleries, interior designers, and directly for over 30 years.
